The Board

Robert is a Managing Director at Smedvig Capital, which he joined in 2001. He has particular experience in fmcg, retail, support services, financial services and property.

Prior to joining Smedvig, Rob was a director at Jardine International Motors, a $4bn auto industry group, where he was responsible for strategy and M&A, completing transactions both in Europe and in the US. Previously he spent six years in strategy consulting at Bain & Company, leading assignments on strategic, operational and organisational issues for clients in a variety of sectors. He has an MBA with distinction from London Business School.

He is also a board member at Exchange Group, Lovejuice, Protego Real Estate Investors, My Home Move, Streetcar and Tusker.
