Board

Ketil has studied at the Oslo School of Business Administration where he specialized in international marketing, international strategies and corporate finance.

In 1988, Ketil began his professional career within the Orkla Group in Oslo, followed by a marketing career within the Colgate-Palmolive company. From 1995 to 1999, he worked for Spendrups Bryggerier AB (Nordic Beverage Group) before rejoining Colgate as General Manager in 1999. In addition to his GM responsibilities, Ketil has also led various European projects within Colgate-Palmolive and spent significant time in short-term assignments in a number of European countries.

In January 2005 he was appointed CEO of Vin & Sprit Absolut Spirits. Today Ketil is the CEO of the Absolut Company and consequently also the President of V & S, due to the acquisition of V & S by Pernod Ricard in July 2008.

Ketil has held various Board assignments through the years. He has served as Chairman of the Swedish Cosmetic, Toiletry and Detergent Association, Maxxium Worldwide BV and The Absolut Spirits Company Inc (USA). He has also served on the Board of Almondy AB, Future Brands LLC (USA) and the Grocery Manufacturers of Sweden.
