The Board

Carl holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Seattle University. At university he worked with fellow student Michael Fogelberg on a number of studies on the introduction of the self storage concept to Scandinavia.

In 1993, having completed his studies, Carl returned to Oslo and set up City Self Storage, where he was Chairman of the Board and MD for a period of ten years.

In 2003, City Self Storage was taken over by Selvaag Gruppen, after the company was valued at 300 million Norwegian Kronor. At that time City Self Storage was established in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic, with a total of 20 facilities.

Carl is now Chairman and majority owner of Cron Industrier AS, an Oslo-based investment company.
